Stone Mountain Research exists to help investors find overlooked opportunities, think more clearly, and understand businesses more deeply. The focus is on small, underfollowed companies where mispricing is more likely and patience is rewarded. Everything here is built around process, not prediction.
Investing Philosophy
My edge starts with where I look: small, under-covered businesses the professionals overlook, where mispricing is most likely. But most stocks are fairly priced most of the time, so I wait for the rare setups where the risk to reward is badly skewed in my favor. Most ideas land in the too-hard pile — I’d rather understand a few businesses deeply than own many I can’t. This page lays out how I think about price, patience, and staying inside my circle of competence.
Research
Full deep dives on complex businesses — business model, financials, management, competition, and risk. Each report takes 40 to 60 hours from first screen to finished piece, and comes with an audio walkthrough and visual breakdowns so the story is easy to follow.
